The event connected marketing professionals to keep them abreast of the constraints and opportunities in 2019. The seminar attracted 120 professionals to hear Cimigo\u2019s top market researchers share the major trends of Vietnamese consumers.\r\n\r\n<!--more-->\r\n\r\n<em>5 minute read<\/em>\r\n\r\nThe first session of the Vietnam Consumer Marketing Science Seminar began with Mr. Richard Burrage, Managing Director of Cimigo addressing the constraints on the growth of consumer packaged goods (CPG) in Vietnam.\r\n\r\nHe addressed reasons related to key constraints of the decelerating birth rate, smarter consumers challenging lacklustre brand innovations, food safety challenging customer\u2019s trust, the overwhelming choice paradox and consumers valuing experiences over tangible goods. Each constraint is inferred from Cimigo\u2019s market research, highlighting not only the gaps that the business can address, but also the potential for future growth and additional revenue.\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1367\" src=\"https:\/\/cimigo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Cimigo-marketing-science-seminar-April-2019-audience.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1247\" height=\"793\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe next Vietnam Consumer Marketing Science Seminar session illustrated the <a href=\"http:\/\/cimigo.com\/vietnam-online-shopping\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">online shopping boom<\/a> in Vietnam associated with changing consumer behaviour.
